UK Sustainability, Energy and Environment Careers & Salary Survey 2016

2016-07-01 13:00:00 +0100 by Miriam Heale

How has the environmental and sustainability jobs market changed over the last five years?

As the global economy girds itself for a fairly rocky ride in 2016, what does it mean to be an environmental professional – how is your career faring and what are the pinch points for future success and security?

In conducting a survey of 1,775 such professionals over a three-month period, from November 2015 to January 2016, we sought answers to these and other questions in our latest Sustainability, Energy and Environmental Professionals Careers and Salary Survey report.

It has been five years since the last such survey and inevitably there are interesting points of comparison between the two. The overarching conclusion we can draw is of a profession continuing to mature in terms of age, length of service, specialist skills and career path.
