EHS Training Manager

Allen & York are currently looking to recruit an experienced EHS (Environment Health & Safety) Trainer to help build the EHS capacity of a key UAE government entity.

The role encompasses all of the main aspects of training management including; - training development and delivery, preparation of training plans, training needs analysis, training evaluation and liaison with external stakeholders and partners. Therefore candidates must have a minimum of 7 years experience working in a senior EHS Training Management role and be able to demonstrate a history of delivering NEBOSH & IOSH training courses (or other western equivalent). The candidate should be degree qualified with Chartered Membership of IOSH or similar. Demonstrable experience of working within the construction industry and providing EHS training solutions for is a big advantage.

Key Responsibilities include:
? To build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate the identification of training and development needs
? To review the EHS Training and Development strategy (in the context of corporate models and initiatives) to assist the business growth and develop its talent to meet evolving business needs
? To support, steer and drive the creation of local training plans ? collating and assessing plans, developing and monitoring budgets as appropriate
? To design and deliver a range of technical and soft skills learning and development interventions to meet defined requirements in a timely and cost effective way
? To identify requirements, manage the alignment and roll out of project management learning solutions
? To manage the work of the EHS training team
? To regularly evaluate and review the effectiveness of training and to ensure that business benefits and value for money are achieved and to ensure the business learning and development KPIs are met

This position is offered as a three year contract.
