Field Sales Executive

Our client has approached Allen & York to find a proactive, self motivated individual who would relish a role that involves proactively creating new business opportunities and thrives on maximising every sales opportunity for all our products and services of the client. The right candidate will report to the Sales Manager and work alongside the sales team to reach company sales targets.You will be expected to:
To generate sales leads based on own initiative.
To deal with all sales enquiries received by telephone, email and fax.
To actively meet customers at their sites and give them a presentation of our products and services in order to gain new contracts.
To provide general support to the Sales Office.
To perform all administrative functions relating to opening of new accounts.
Essential skills and experience:
Strong sales skills and ability to generate a lead into a sale.
Experience in closing contractual sales.
Sales experience within the service industry dealing with blue chip clients.
Presentation & negotiation skills.
Proven experience in a busy customer-driven environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to liaise at all levels.
Tenacity and ability to retain motivation levels.
Ability to efficiently juggle a variety of tasks in a pressurised, sometimes hectic, working environment.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Strong administrative and organisation skills.
Full clean driving licence.In return there is an excellent benefits package including a car, laptop, mobile phone and non contributory pension scheme after completion of the probationary period.
