A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Principal Waste Management Engineer to join a well established, large multidisciplinary consultancy based in the West Midlands.

The role will involve the right candidate being involved with design for new waste management recovery, treatment and landfill facilities; site investigation, closure and restoration plans; infrastructure development; the appointment and supervision of contractors and project management. The role is client focussed with the right candidate being able to liaise directly with clients and ensure their requirements are delivered to time and budget.

The ideal candidate should have sufficient technical knowledge to contribute in some of the more complex and critical client situations, and may also act as a Team Leader, which will require excellent staff management skills.

The role involves significant project responsibility with the right candidate having the ability to lead projects with considerable impact, proactively managing change requests and identifying risks.
