Our client is looking for a waste management consultancy to secure new clients in the waste management sector including the preparation and submission of proposals and formal tenders.

The role will include:
Managing and contributing to projects covering the review and procurement of environmental services (waste, street cleaning and grounds maintenance) for local authority clients;
Managing and contributing projects covering waste planning, permitting and engineering
Providing technical and professional advice on operational and managerial aspects of waste management services.

There will be an advisory role to play regarding recycling systems, refuse collection and waste treatment/transfer and disposal as well as recycling performance standards and landfill targets.
Preparing technical and professional reports;
Presentation of findings to local authority Officers and Members;
Devising and carrying out consultation with local authorities, waste management contractors and other stakeholders;
Technical and financial management of consultancy projects.

Essential:
Member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management
Related experience in waste management sector;
Experience in providing environmental consultancy services
