A successful company with expertise in the areas of engineering, environment and safety seek an Energy in Buildings Consultant.The role will include technical delivery of projects involving energy surveys, energy efficiency and retro-fitting of low carbon technologies to existing buildings to both private and publics sectors.There is also a range of future opportunities to work with the companies Carbon Management, Environmental Management System Consultancy and Sustainable Construction Consultancy teams. Where the successful candidate will be expected to have a key role in growing these areas of business.The successful professional will ideally have an engineering or science background, with a detailed understanding of energy use in buildings in a variety of sectors and relevant Building Regulations. Knowledge of wider energy policy including Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and Renewable Obligation will be advantageous.
