UK's foremost wind and hyrdo developer and operator is seeking a Strategy Manager. With a number of established wind farms and power stations and many more schemes in development an analytical and commercially minded individual is required to play a leading role in influencing the company's approach to the renewable energy sector.Key responsibilities will include managing the modelling of the renewables market to facilitate the development of business strategies, develop lobbying positions in conjunction with other stakeholders, monitoring competitor activity, development of strategies and marketing them to other companies in the energy industry.You will be required to deputise for the Head of Strategy and play a key role in developing strategy and targets in the renewable sector. You should therefore have excellent communication and presentation skills and a high level of computer literacy.The successful candidate will ideally have a background in the energy, engineering or electricity generation sectors although this is not essential.This position will require a certain amount of travel.
