A high profile position within the corporate services department of one of the world’s leading environmental and energy consultancies. The group’s activities help companies comply with environmental and social legislation and to improve their performance at operational and strategic level on an international basis.

This position will lead their European work in the electrical and electronics sector, a sector they carry out significant work for at present, particularly through:

• Detailed advice to international clients on how RoHS will affect their products.
• Advising and registering clients with national WEEE requirements.
• Helping clients in broader areas of environmental management, such as corporate responsibility, carbon management and the impact of sustainability on their core business strategies.

The successful applicant will have significant relevant work experience either as an environmental or compliance manager in the electronics industry or working as a consultant extensively in the sector. Detailed knowledge of RoHS and WEEE legislation and its application in Member States is essential, as is the minimum of a 1st degree in a related subject. Established connections and contacts within the electronics industry will be expected as will the ability to network and grow these further.

The role can be carried out of any one of the companies UK offices. A full UK driving licence is essential.
