A challenging and fascinating new position within an international and dynamic environment. Specialising in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate change our client has recently established a bioenergy division and are looking for a thermal conversion specialist to join the team.A fantastic new role working primarily with industry, governments and NGO's core responsibilities of the role will include technology selection, feasibility studies, project development support and guiding planning applications and heat and electricity load analysis.Knowledge of various thermal conversion technologies (boilers steam turbines etc) and experience related to biomass combustion, heat production and CHP is essential. Previous experience of thermal modelling would be of benefit.The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of UK renewable energy and climate change policy and legislation as well as a good understanding of legislative requirements and planning permission procedures.
