Our Client is dedicated to achieving sustainable waste management through innovation. They focus on recycling, chemical treatment technologies and waste reduction processes.
The role will involve maintaining the existing customer base within the designated area and to achieve new growth against budget on a monthly basis through new customer visits.
The field sales role will be unsupervised and point of contact will be reporting daily to the Sales Director. The role necessitates at least 4 years waste management background experience or a chemistry based degree. In addition, 2 years sales background from a waste industry environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain existing customer base through scheduled contacts and visits as deemed necessary to suit the customers’ requirements• Establish and maintain new business through customer growth and retention• Achieve monthly sales targets on an ongoing and regular basis• Preserve the good name of the company and its property at all times• Complete and return all requests for reports and information to your line manager as and when requested• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.• Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers, suppliers, visitors, enquirers and relevant staff. Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role• To adopt a positive approach to troubleshooting at all times• All equipment supplied by the client must be kept in good working order and any faults must be reported immediately to your line manager.Please contact us for more information
