Our client is one of the leading hazardous waste companies in the UK with an outstanding reputation for delivering spectacular results throughout the industry. They have an outstanding senior position for an experienced waste management specialist in the East Anglia region to supervise a number of waste employees, and report directly to the Operations Director.
The candidate will supervise the following employees:
Operations Supervisor
Transfer Station Supervisor
Site Chemists and Hazpak Chemists
Drivers and Operatives
SubcontractorsJob function/Scope Manage the Great Yarmouth location.
Ensure operations adhere to all applicable legislation.
Ensure compliance with all HSEQ objectives and establish a safe working culture and environment, across all operational areas.
Deliver customer service excellence.Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for operational management of the location
Including, contract delivery, cost control and some client liaison
Operational and process trouble shooting.
Ensuring compliance with all HSEQ legislation.
Strengthening the companys local market position by focusing on delivery.
Full day-to-day responsibility for operations including transport and customer service.
Manage and develop personnel.
Project management.
Offshore business retention.
Some travel involved regionally
Performance Measure
Monthly reporting including timely operations financial details
Budgetary compliance.
All of the safety and environmental plans and scorecards
Personal safety contract.
Advance processQualifications/experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Budgetary control and people management expertise, essential.
COTC TSH4 and TMH4 and CPC qualified (preferable) with extensive waste and environmental experience.
Chemistry qualification, a distinct advantage.In return the client is offering a generous salary, private health care, car allowance, bonus scheme and pension.
