Incineration Manager

Our client is one of the largest privately owned waste management companies in the UK. They have an excellent opportunity for an Incinerator Manager to manage this key 24-hour operation based just outside of London.Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Technical Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Clinical Waste Incinerator (CWI).
• You will ensure that the operation and maintenance of the CWI complies with all relevant environmental legislation, environmental management systems and Health, Safety & Welfare requirements.
• Be responsible for the compliance and updating of the operating procedures, completing PI reports and EA returns.
• Strong leadership qualities are required and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Key Experience:
• Candidates must have considerable experience within the waste management industry within a supervisor / managerial role.
• Candidates must also hold a current COTC qualification for TSS4 Transfer Operations, TMS4 Treatment Operations and INC4 Incineration.
• Have good working knowledge of hazardous waste incinerators, treatment plants and the general waste industry, costs, as well as current and new legislation. In return the client is offering a competitive rates of pay, four weeks paid holiday, contributory pension scheme, company car and company sick pay (after qualifying periods). There is not a requirement to work shifts but you will be required to be on call from time to time out of hours.
