Here is a chance to work for a global consultancy as a Waste Engineer to be based in the South West.

The client is really looking to develop their Waste Engineering team and this is a chance to really make your mark helping to co-ordinate activities, drive business development and oversee assignments including landfill, treatment and all engineering issues.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

- Marketing and business development activity in a local and regional context with targeted results based on their existing Local Authority network and contacts.
- To assist in bidding, marketing and projects in relation to all waste service delivery plans.
- To support existing projects and client sectors in order to provide additional revenues and build company reputation

The successful candidate will:
- Have a well established track record in the design and delivery of waste infrastructure projects.
- The ability to liaise with and influence senior figures in engineering and private waste sector
- Ability to work across a 'virtual team'
- Be a Chartered Member of CIWM/Contractor Experience
- Possess a relevant first degree
