Senior Project Manager - Construction

Due to significant and ongoing growth, our client requires a Senior Project Manager to join the Construction Consultancy Unit based at their Mayfair office, which handles well in excess of £1bn of capital projects annually across predominantly London and southern England.

Many of their projects are high profile or exemplar including world class arts projects, major new education facilities and nationally significant government projects. They frequently involve site acquisition/disposal and value release, multiple funding sources and complex town planning and regeneration issues.

Their continuing business growth offers excellent opportunities for personal development and advancement, in an exciting multi-discipline construction consultancy and property advisory environment.

Candidates will need:
- Good technical and professional knowledge in the PM field (ideally with an understanding of public sector best practice regimes)
- Experience of leading consultant teams and managing a range of procurement routes and construction contracts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to front to clients desire to help grow the business
- Experience in the Education Sector and especially the Further Education sector will be an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a recognised qualification in project management (including Dip PM, APM, Chartered Project Management Surveyor etc) or have demonstrable project management experience allied to a construction industry related qualification such as RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ACE
