Essential characteristics for the role should include:
> An accomplished and experienced practitioner in private sector consultancy in a regeneration or economic development environment.
> Have a track record of significant work winning in his/her own right with excellent client and sector contacts
> Would have the reputation and credibility to manage large scale projects and lead multi disciplinary teams
> Be capable of developing a distinct role in the London/Manchester office providing key inputs across the office whilst helping to build up the economic development and regeneration practice.

>Evaluation, project appraisal and business planning
>Competitiveness, technology and innovation
>Housing, social exclusion and neighbourhood renewal
