Ecologist (EIA)

An exciting new position within a growing team for an individual with good survey skills, protected species survey licences and excellent team working skills !

The role will require a wide variety of EIA / SEA projects, ecology projects and sustainability work, both in the UK and overseas. You will amongst other duties also; prepare studies, undertake internal quality assurance of projects using in-house QES system, prepare ecological survey reports and ecological inputs to larger projects, liase with clients, mentor and train graduates, project manage and as appropriate undertake financial management duties.

A strong ecology background is required, as well as some protected species licences. Knowledge of ecology within the context of BREEAM would be an advantage. Experience of writing Appropriate Assessments for the SEA process and a knowledge of WebTAG, STAG and/or GRIP would also be an advantage, although not essential.
