Landfill Site Manager

Overall Responsibility: Plan, organise and control operations at the Waste Facility to include landfill and other
activities as required in accordance with legislation, Company policy and procedures. Key Responsibilities:The candidate will be expected to manage and motivate all staff under your control effectively and efficiently and assist in the preparation of annual cost budgets in accordance with targets determined by the Disposal Team Manager.This will include restoration works and liaison with the Technical & Environmental Manager regarding the implementation of aftercare and maintenance and ensuring sites are compliant with all legislation, permissions and licences. The candidate will evaluate any changes in strategy, policy or procedures with a view to increasing profitability and efficiency, ensuring all environmental monitoring is undertaken in accordance with the specifications in the working plan and to correctly dispatch samples for testing.Knowledge of containment cells maintenance and COTC LS4 is required for all candidates as they will be assisting in the preparation of a monthly, written operations report and cost forecast as well as preparation of operational plans for the sites and to communicate the plans and any variations to all staff responsible for implementation.Please contact us for more information
