Due to an increased workload and demand from clients, one of the leading engineering and environmental consultancies are looking for a Principal Hydrologist to aid in the development of their London office.

You will be providing direction for part of a team of c.40 people, delivering flood risk assessments and hydrological input to clients throughout London and the South East, and will require experience in the following areas:

- providing hydrological input to pre-planning work
- providing technical input and reporting to the TD for Flood Risk, such as floodplain modelling, mapping, risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis
- conducting flood risk assessments using appropriate software
- good project management skills, including implementing projects, and an expertise in financial and risk management would be highly advantageous
- sound report writing skills

Experience of using HEC-RAS, ISIS and FEH is essential, as well as a full UK driving license.
