A large multidisciplinary consultancy are looking to extend their expertise in the South West through the recruitment of an experienced individual to lead the growth of their environmental services in the region, with an emphasis on large scale EIA projects.

The consultancy provides strategic review, SEA and EIA services, as well as environmental management during the design and construction phases of medium to large scale projects. At each stage, their understanding of the development process enables practical and workable mitigation to be identified as early as possible.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Taking the lead in developing EIA work in the South West
- Liaising with existing teams in Reading & London
- Managing the technical aspects of projects
- Managing client relationships
- Current projects include Forder Valley Plymouth, Plymouth Airport, The Life Centre Plymouth, Ashton Park Bristol, A470 Cardiff and Union Square Swindon.

The successful candidate should hold extensive experience of working on large scale EIA projects, and hold business development skills, ideally from a consultancy background.
