Our client's have a vacancy for a Transport Planner to be based in their offices all over the UK.

Responsibilities will include:
> Assistance with traffic engineering inputs to a range of projects for public and private sector clients
> Supervision of technician staff
> Report writing
> Compliance with agreed administrative and QA standards and procedures
> Undertaking such other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be directed by your manager

Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:

> A degree in Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering or Civil Engineering with some experience in a consultancy.

Previous experience in the following areas:
> Traffic Impact Assessments
> Parking studies
> Traffic Management
> Mobility Management / Travel Planning
> Road Safety
> Public Transport
> Transport Planning
> Transport modelling

Excellent communication skills with a high standard of spoken and written English

Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PowerPoint is desirable. Working knowledge of OSCADY, ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT, AutoCAD. Micro simulation modelling experience would be an advantage.

Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and high levels of presentation.
