Our client needs a CAD manager to manage and develop CAD capability; and to deliver effective CAD systems and procedures that add value to the business in the production of information. This job will be based in their offices in London.Your key responsibilities include:
> To research, write strategic recommendations, implement, and train and manage.
> You will work with the Operations Manager to co-ordinate CAD support throughout the office.
> You will assess current systems and practices in all CAD areas, and introduce improvements, where required, to generate better value
> You will manage output quality and implement a policy of continuous improvement
> You will reassess staff periodically
> You will devise training programmes when new or upgraded software is introduced
> You will work with the Operations Manager and the CAD Forum; and write annual reports containing reviews, strategic recommendations and budgets
> You will brief project architects at the onset of new architectural projects to establish their CAD requirements
> You will regularly audit architectural projects to ensure that procedures are being applied; that quality of output is being maintained; and that information is being produced effectively
> You will make presentations to staff to demonstrate procedures and good practice, and to introduce new software or upgrades
> You will maintain a visible presence in the office and help with individual problemsYour specific objectives are:
