An exciting temporary contract role has become available for our clients in Bath. Our client is an independent multi disciplinary consultancy offering a diverse selection of professional services.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated senior planner with private or local authority experience to join the team for an interim period.
Main Duties:
- Supporting senior staff in the management of planning projects, submission of proposals and responsibility for project management;
- Financial management preparing fee proposals;
- Representing clients through planning appeals and public enquiries;
- Representing clients at public meetings or planning committee to support proposals;
- Leading project team in compiling and managing planning submissions;
- Overseeing the production of written reports, to include Design and Access Statements and Planning Statements;
- Representing clients interests through the LDF process;
- Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team;
- Keeping fully abreast of changes within the planning system;
