Our client's require a graduate consultant to assist with research, site visits, undertaking heritage assessments and submission of consent applications to be based in their Cambridge offices. Candidates will have been studied at degree level.
Responsibilities include carrying out research, undertakeing site visits and preparing reports primarily, but not necessarily exclusively, for historic building and historic area projects.
Assisting in the preparation of Conservation Area Appraisals and other similar area based assessments.
Assisting in historic building assessments and in the preparation and submission of listed building, conservation area consent and planning applications.
Assisting in any other heritage or planning related projects as required. e.g. planning appeals, environmental impact assessments, design and access statements, provision of conservation advice to local planning authorities.
Plus any experience gained in consultancy would be advantageous. Masters degree in a heritage related area would be beneficial.
