This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading specialist in the UK construction development sector at a Group Health & Safety Manager or, dependant on experience, Director Level. Specialising in inner city urban developments and prestigious residential schemes this company is part of an international group with over 11,000 employees with a multi-billion pound turnover.

Based from a West Midlands or North West office you will report into the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for; the strategic management of the health & safety team, ensuring the business meets and exceeds the safety legislation and group targets and relaying this by presenting reports to the board.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified, hold the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and must be a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (CMIOSH). Along with excellent communication skills, you will be competent developing and implementing health & safety management systems (i.e. OHSAS 18001). Although not essential, candidates will be at a distinct advantage having worked within a similar role in a construction orientated organisation.
