A growing and ambitious business operating in the exciting and rapidly changing energy and utilities sector have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer.

This is a challenging role that will offer a long term structured career path in power system design, with training and mentoring provided to achieve engineering registration and full membership of the IET.

You will be responsible for:
The co-ordination of power systems design projects;
The completion of detailed design drawings and estimating schedules;
Customer liaison and relationship management;
Maintaining awareness of developments within the energy/utilities marketplace;
Representing the company at client meetings;
Accurate updating of internal and external IT databases.

It will be necessary for you to have relevant experience of power systems design, an Electrical Engineering Degree in Power Systems, Excellent IT skills, the ability to delegate tasks and monitor others day to day activities and excellent communication skills. Chartered Engineer status is also desirable.
