Senior Transport Modeller

Our client's have an established transport planning team offering a wide range of services to public and private sector clients. They are now recruiting an experienced Senior Transport Modeller for their offices in Leeds.
As Senior Transport Modeller, you should have strong analytical and modelling background to assist with and manage highway and other modelling projects. The candidate should be experienced in the use of SATURN and other software, such as TRIPS/ EMME2 or micro-simulation models, such as Paramics or VISSIM, and have the expertise to advise on the design of modelling studies, their management and reporting.The candidate should be conversant with the appropriate guidance on the assessment of transport schemes and familiar with the interaction with related disciplines. They will be expected to contribute to the design and day to day management of transport modelling and forecasting studies and the assessment of scheme impacts, including environmental, operational and economic appraisals. The candidate will be expected to lead a team of supporting staff and to work closely with the client in the management and delivery of projects. Candidates should also have an appropriate first degree and ideally, a postgraduate degree in transport planning or traffic engineering.
