A role within a London based team has arisen for Quantity Surveyors / Commercial Managers for a candidate who relishes the opportunity and challenge of being part of a growing team.Our clients' currently provide QS and commercial management services through long term Consultancy Frameworks to most of the UK rail industry.
Due to several major Framework appointments they want to grow the Commercial Management team considerably over the coming year and can offer excellent opportunities for career development for all successful applicants. Our clients' are looking to employ candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for taking responsibility for delivering projects as well as being a key contact for our clients.Candidates will have up to 5 years experience with a recognised professional qualification and degree or equivalent. Alternatively they may hold lower qualifications but have a minimum 15 years relevant experience.They should also have knowledge and experience of commercial contract management within the rail, utilities or infrastructure sectors.They must be technically experienced in most aspects off their profession and have an understanding of the requirements for assessing and managing risk. The key responsibility is for the successful commercial management and reporting of contracts.Where appropriate the successful candidate would be expected to assist in the management, reporting and business development of the Rail Team in order to contribute to the team’s business plan and agreed targets.If you are interested in this job, contact us today.
