An outstanding opening has now arisen for a Senior Sustainability Consultant, to be based in Swansea.

My client focuses on new development and managing existing businesses, industry and estates. Through negotiation and building strong relationships they succeed in the delivery of client aspirations.

This international consultancy has a number of clientele who require support and advice on both sustainable design and construction. A Senior Consultant is required to extend the delivery of their services in the property sector.

Through the Code for Sustainable Homes, EcoHomes and other BREEAM schemes, the Sustainability Consultant will also be responsible for undertaking and managing appraisals of the sustainable design and construction of buildings, advising key clients on how to deliver the zero carbon agenda. The successful candidate will in addition work with existing sustainable design teams in England to assist in the progression of a regional team and supply expert advice on a specific component of the overall sustainability discipline, for example renewable energy systems, climate modelling, or environmental technologies.

You should have a degree in an Environment/Energy related discipline, and a working knowledge of techniques for the appraisal and design of sustainable buildings with regard to sustainable design and construction. IEMA membership and formal training and accreditation under Code for Sustainable Homes / EcoHomes / BREEAM / SAP would be advantageous.
