Reporting to the Building Services Director, you will bring an understanding of the Energy sector to the Building Services team. As a Chartered Engineer with a degree in either a Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical discipline, you will be conversant with low carbon and sustainable technologies during the design process.

Your duties will include the assessment of alternative and sustainable energy systems and projects, energy and carbon assessments/audits of buildings, Computational Fluid Dynamics and advanced energy simulation analysis of buildings, familiarity with BREEAM/EcoHomes and Buildings appraisals with regard to the European Energy Performance Building Directive.

What’s more you should have a good mix of software skills as follows:

 IES (should have at least good knowledge of IES 3D modelling environment)
 Hevacomp
 PVSyst
 Homer
 TAS
 Envest II
 T*SOL
 CARB FM
 RETScreen
