Our client is seeking the services of an urban and regional planner to join the recently formed urban planning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The urban and regional planning position will require an initial focus on existing planning projects in the region; however an important component of the role will also be to diversify the existing client base and geography of the workload.

The responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
> Provide relevant inputs into planning projects in both the Middle East and the Subcontinent;
> Contribute to our clients' urban and regional planning business development efforts in the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent;
> Provide key planning inputs into planning and multi-disciplinary projects in both the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent;
> Manage planning projects as and when required;
> Assist in developing an urban and regional planning team in the region to resource the existing and significant number of potential projects being pursued in the region.

The candidate will have:
• A degree level qualification in a relevant field
• A postgraduate qualification in urban and regional planning
• Membership of a relevant home country planning institute
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of innovation and lateral thinking
• Strong report writing, analytical and negotiation skills
