Operating as Principal Tunnelling Engineer you will spearhead the geotechnical design team on tunnelling & Underground schemes and work closely with the design team, clients and contractors. You will develop tunnelling skills within the team for a wide range of clients across Rail & Property sectors amongst others, you will be seen as a figure of authority within the team and be a technical reviewer and mentor for other staff.

You must be a Chartered Civil Engineer with relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering and Geotechnical/Mining or a similar discipline.

You will have a proven ability to take the lead in major tunnelling works and combine strong technical experience with a client-facing background.
