Our clients' have an opportunity for an ambitious Regeneration Project Manager with the right skills to join an enthusiastic team providing a wide range of regeneration and development management services on major projects for both private and public sector clients.

Their focus is on delivering Sustainable Regeneration to meet the needs of communities, existing and new. We understand that regeneration is about the economy, the community and the environment.

You will have a relevant degree and evidence of either further training or relevant experience such as working towards APMP or PRINCE 2.

A good candidate will be expected to:

> Be familiar with Project Management processes including some knowledge of PRINCE2 and be able to apply these to tasks other than construction
> Show an awareness of Government policy on regeneration, economic and physical, Sustainable Communities and Growth Area Agendas
> Have some understanding of some or all of specific policy areas including Planning (Strategic and Development Control), the Skills Agenda, Sustainable Development, Modern Methods of Construction
> Be proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Project Competencies

A good candidate will be expected to be:

> Able to communicate effectively in a variety of media
> Manage their own workload and set priorities to achieve business objectives
> Work under direction but able to use their own initiative when required and understand the limits to their discretion
> Understanding of diversity, social inclusion mad community cohesion

You should be:

> Proficiency in standard office IT programmes
> Able to express themselves clearly orally and in writing
> Able to plan their work and meet deadlines, and to guide others on so doing

The post holder will be expected to

> Manage under appropriate direction work on behalf of clients to meet specification and within the appropriate budgets
> Contribute to the professional and commercial development of the team
> Support Director and Associate Directors in securing work and building a network of appropriate contacts

You should be enthusiastic, a good communicator and be able to use your own initiative.
