A key role in an exciting and growing area of a leading consultancy managing and developing projects related to energy and waste management. With your previous experience of implementing thermal energy projects and technical and commercial appraisal of those, you will be fully equipped to take on a client facing role.
Involvement in projects using a variety of fuels such as biomass, energy from waste and fossil fuels and a good knowledge of the principles of CHP is required to successfully carry out this role. You will be involved in projects covering technology issues, development of capital projects, market development themes and policy issues. This is a chance to develop and use a range of skills, including managing projects and project teams, and at times acting as the principal client interface.
You will have a good understanding of energy conversion technologies, including combustion, gasification and pyrolysis, and knowledge of the drivers and barriers associated with the successful development of commercial projects. An understanding of policy instruments in the energy and waste management sectors is also required to carry out this role successfully.
