My client is involved in the provision of leadership and technical advice on a range of Environmental issues to clients within an industry sector.A vacancy has arisen for a technical Environmental Manager to advise on Environmental issues to their members, on issues ranging from Carbon Emissions, Sustainability reporting, Air Quality and Climate Change. You will be involved on a wide range of projects relating to CO2 legislation, low carbon partnerships and emissions related congestion charging.The role involves working closely with the CO2 project team to respond to key stakeholders on all CO2, air quality, climate change and sustainability issues. In addition you will liaise and consult with key industry members on legislation and standardisation matters and will represent members views to government and other legislative bodies.Applicants for this role should have excellent report writing and oral presentation skills and will hold an Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline. In addition, candidates should also have Chartered or corporate status of an appropriate professional body. Applicants should also have good knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and have a high level of business awareness.A competitive salary and attractive benefits package is offered with this position.
