Our client is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary consultancies with an unparalled reputation for supporting and helping to develop the careers of their staff every step of the way. An opportunity has arisen to join their ambitious town planning team in Wales as a Regional Planning manager.
As part of this challenging role you will be the key player in the development of their successful town planning business. You will focus on providing support to local planning authorities across the range of planning functions including both development control and policy.
You will report to an Associate Director responsible for co-ordinating planning business development in Wales and the West as well as liaising with colleagues in similar positions in other offices across the UK to achieve national success in the planning market.
It is essential that you be:
- A Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI)
- Highly experienced in town planning in public and/or private sector
- Commercially aware
- An excellent communicator
- Well versed in town planning issues in Wales and England
- Possessed of good business development skills
You should be able to work with a minimum of supervision and will be responsible to the Associate Director for delivery of key targets for both the development of new and the maintenance of current projects and performance.
