Associate Director/ Senior Regeneration Consultant

The Regeneration Team of an establish town planning consultancy in North East is looking to recruit a Regeneration Consultant at either Senior or Associate level. In this role you will undertake work for a wide range of clients, including Regional Development Agencies, Regional Assemblies, Local Authorities, Housing Market Renewal Pathfinders, New Deal for Community Partnerships and other regeneration agencies.

The work is wide ranging and will involve research to inform regional and local strategies, development of local regeneration strategies, action plans and development frameworks, housing market renewal assessments and masterplans. This involves not only working with the client but also liaising with a range of stakeholders, community groups and residents.

You will:

- Have demonstrable relevant experience in either the public or private sector at Senior Consultant level. At Associate Director level we would require evidence of significant experience.
- Have a working knowledge of regeneration initiatives. Experience of housing market work would be desirable.
- Have an understanding of key national and regional policies that impact on regeneration
- Have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Have an ability to analyse information and convert it into reasoned advice
- Have experience of working with a range of stakeholders from a number of different organisations/community groups
- Have project, time management, communication and presentation skills
- At Associate Director level, have team management skills.

Intelligence, creative thinking and a commitment to delivering sustainable regeneration solutions will be as important as demonstrating the required experience.
