My client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy and is growing at a ferocious rate. Increasingly they are doing more and more work with water utility companies, contractors and the like and as a result need to expand on their talented team of flood risk experts.

The role itself will predominantly involved technical, managerial and marketing support within my clients rivers and flood defence team whilst working on a wide range of river, estuary and flood defence projects. Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing reports and managing client relationships on a project by project basis.
• Deputising for Project Manager on large and complex projects.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Providing technical direction to junior members of staff.

If you have an established background in fluvial modelling, flood defence design and management with Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and are Chartered or nearing Chartered status then this could be an excellent opportunity for you to join an ambitious and excelling consultancy at a great time.
