One of the largest utility companies in the UK are currently looking to recruit an Environmental Technician to join their expansive environmental set-up.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of emissions performance testing in order to meet Integrated Pollution Prevention Control (IPPC) Regulations and environmental audits to meet EU Emissions Trading Scheme Regulations. The incumbent of the role will be tasked with producing reports for submission to the Environment Agency as well as internal governance bodies.

You will be MCERTS qualified to Level 2 with Technical Endorsement 4 (Gaseous Measurement by Instrumental Analysers), and experience of gas turbines will be advantageous but not essential.

Applicants need to have a full driving licence and be willing to travel to various sites across the UK.
