A Comprehensive Construction client with multi-million pound design and build, PFI and traditional contracts throughout the UK are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor. The company specialise in the following sector health, education, commercial, industrial, government, defence, pharmaceutical and retail.The role is to manage the company Safety Management System, and prepare all relevant documentation for internal and external audits.
It is critical that you have experience of undertaking health and safety management on multi-million construction projects and are familiar with delivering all safety aspects of major development.
You must have experience of managing safety on both large construction projects and also have a demonstrable understanding of working closely with an overland railway interface, and appreciation of the intricacies of such work. Qualifications required are:
Hold MIOSH status as a minimum
Have an Environmental qualification
Show an appreciation of behavioural safety methods.
Essentially you will have experience of working for a large construction contracting organisation
Be competent in ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and client requirements.
