An exciting opportunity with one of the world’s leading engineering, construction and project management companies are looking to recruit a Environment Health & Safety Manager based in Saudi Arabia.
The company builds power plants, pipelines and petroleum refineries. They have major projects working on airports, roads, and railways and telecommunications systems.The role of Health & Safety Manager is to supervise the ES&H functions for a build project. From start to finish. You will coordinate all the ES&H functions of a project and be able to communicate at al levels with Contractors and local authorities.
You will work independently to provide ES&H administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the project. You will require the basic Skills in ES&H: Knowledge of basic skills in industrial hygiene, safety engineering, health physics, and environmental compliance. ES&H Audits and Training.You must have been a Health & Safety Manager before preferably working in the Middle East, with excellent leadership and personnel experience.
You will be NEBOSH qualified and Certified by an accredited EH&S organization (i.e. Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards, National Commission for Certifying Agencies or Certified Safety Professional).
Have a Bachelors Degree in EH&S/Management or related science/engineering area preferred; and/or equivalent experience/training, in addition to experience leading to the thorough understanding of the knowledge described above.
