Leading company in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate change is seeking a Junior Consultant Energy and Climate Strategies to join the Italian Strategy team.

As junior consultant your key areas of responsibility will be to perform high-quality analysis within individual projects and to contribute to the acquisition of new work. You will be involved in Project topics which may include (among others), evaluation and design of (renewable) energy and climate policies (including the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and JI/CDM), assessment of energy conservation and emission reduction potentials and cost, analysis of market opportunities for renewable energy, energy conservation and emission reduction technologies and projects and/or future climate commitments, assessment and articulation and monitoring of corporate voluntary commitments.

You will be an excellent team player as you will be working closely with Energy and Climate Strategy colleagues both in Italy and internationally and over time you will be responsible for managing your own individual projects.

The successful applicant will have a strong technical background with a good understanding and appreciation of energy and climate change policy. Excellent analytical and communication/reporting skills.

You will have the ability to work in a high pace environment, on multiple projects, keeping within deadlines, budgets and have experience in spreadsheets/ power points/word editing (Italian/English). Your command of English will be of a high standard and have University Degree in energy and/or environmental technology, economics or policy (or equivalent).
