A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be involved with the Clinton Climate Change Initiative for London, and work within a worldwide technical business.
As an Energy Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development and management of work from the initial stages through to completion. The main focus will be on studying and implementing energy conservation measures to reduce the carbon footprint of some of the buildings in The City of London.
You must be a "project champion" and supervise all work to ensure a timely, high quality project completion. As such, primary duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Keeping projects on schedule and within budget. Project scope includes lighting improvements, energy management and control system installation, boil and cooling tower retrofits and HVAC distribution system upgrades.
- You will manage energy conservation project development including preliminary evaluations, detailed energy audits, cost estimating, financial analysis and contract development.
- You will also develop or refine Scope of Work (SOW) for projects
- You will report project progress to the customer.
As such you will ideally meet the following requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Management or Technical Sciences such as mechanical or electrical engineering or project management.
- PMP or PE certification preferred - however, a successful track record and a desire to work on a team in a fast-paced, growing industry are most important
- A background in project management, with an emphasis on Energy management.
This is a stand-alone role so you must be comfortable working on your own initiative.
The main office that you will be based out of is in Bracknell but there will be the option to flexibly work from home as well as travel when required.
