Allen and York are delighted to announce another fantastic new role within the Energy & Sustainability Group of the world’s largest property consultancy. Working with a team that deals specifically with blue chip corporate clients & property investors, you will work day to day with the Head of the Energy & Sustainability Group in a growing and dynamic team offering significant opportunity for career progression. With a client base that is becoming increasingly aware that being green is an important business consideration, the team works with them to ensure that their property portfolio strategies are aligned with their energy & environment goals.

The role is client facing and strategy based, encompassing property portfolio advice, feasibility studies relating to green investments and CSR strategies specifically in relation to buildings. Working closely with clients, the aim is the provision of education and insight in areas around climate change and environment. You will be expected to keep abreast of the global climate change agenda and be expected to remain aware of new developments within the industry such as new technologies, approaches to carbon foot prints and energy consumption.

You will be working closely with other parts of the business in order to ensure that the energy solution employed aligns closely with the clients’ key objectives and also the current and anticipated property market drivers. What’s more the successful individual will be required to bring key consultants together when required in order to implement the most advantageous solution for the client.

You should be a highly motivated individual with a good knowledge of the energy issues related to buildings and experience in project management combined with the ability to work alongside key clients, focusing on reporting, educating and managing process as well as structuring and closing projects. You will ideally be an ambitious Senior Consultant / Senior Engineer, with an energy & environment focus who wants a more challenging and stimulating role working on complex real estate strategies with key clients.
