Flood Incident Manager

My client, a large national employer concerned with protecting and improving the environment in England and Wales are currently seeking to recruit two Flood Incident Managers to join their teams in Leeds and Newcastle.

This position will involve:

• Maintaining the flood warning database and identifying new flood warning areas.
• Co-ordinating internal procedure manuals.
• Working with communities in flood zones to raise awareness of flooding.
• Providing input into incident plans and procedures.

Suitable candidates will have an established background in relevant geographic, incident management, emergency planning or customer focus supported by a degree in an appropriate engineering, geographic, emergency planning or customer service based discipline. An understanding of hydrology and hydraulics, risk regulatory matters would also be beneficial-these qualifications will enable you to take advantage of this opportunity to join this blue chip employer.
