Fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer based in Hampshire, if you are looking to move away from consultancy and work on the picturesque South Coast then this is for you.

You will join an existing team and undertake the top level design of systems covering a broad range of waste management and treatment facilities. This will include:
• Assisting in the development of solutions to customer requirements
• Developing detailed design solutions for systems
• Undertaking Research and Development projects
• Preparing technical specifications for systems covering functional performance, operation, reliability, and maintainability
• Developing designs for systems capable of mechanical handling of waste and waste derived products
• Development of Operating and Maintenance Procedures
• Preparation of drawings and sketches using Autocad

The position involves liaising with customers, suppliers, and technical advisors; and includes occasional travel within the UK meaning a UK driving license is required. An Engineering Degree as well as several years experience of the design mechanical handling systems including, conveyors, cranes, sorting systems, material storage is required.
