An exciting opportunity for a Lead Economist advising clients on energy, economic and transports development assignments.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of the management on energy or development projects, possess previous experience in leading projects.

Experience;

•Influencing, gaining buy in and developing strategies at Board/Senior Management level
•Proven experience of establishing strong working relationships internally and externally
•Experience of managing and effectively utilising technical specialists and professional advisers
• Enthusiasm and energy to build, and work as part of, a team
•Able to maintain and develop a culture of continuous improvement

This challenging roles requiring a range of personal qualities as well as industry experience. You must feel comfortable working alongside senior management and clients, possess the authority to enforce high-quality standards and obligations where necessary. You must have the credibility to persuade senior management and directors on significant project.

In a changing environment, the ability to manage and develop staff is important, especially in a small team of technical specialists.
