This globally renowned consultancy requires a Principal Engineer to enhance their successful Water Environment team in the Clean Water area.

You will act as part of the water management group in taking the large multi-disciplined team into increased areas of design work whilst successfully managing medium to large projects and civil design teams. You will be technically and commercially responsible for the feasibility and design of clean water projects including modelling but will also gain exposure to other areas such as oil storage pollution prevention measures, canal and river weir designs and innovate new ideas in other sectors that have water dependency.

Your main duties will be:
To Project Manage medium to large size projects
Manage the production, quality and delivery of models, design calculations, specifications, drawings and design HARA’s for water related projects
Manage and help develop engineers, graduates and technicians within the team
Develop good working relationships with both existing and new clients to help secure further business.

You must possess:
CEng MICE or CEng MCIWEM status
Design experience in water industry projects generally but preferably clean water schemes
A track record of successful management of design teams and project and financial management of medium to large scale projects.
