Based in glorious Abu Dhabi this is a chance to join a consultancy approaching half a century of successful work in the Middle East, you can join in a Senior Water Design Engineer role where you will be a focal point in the office operating as team leader when required.

Working in the clean water team you will provide leadership and mentoring to the team members; delivering projects to meet time and budget.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Design and design management of water projects
- Deliver complete design package including technical drawings, design calculations, specifications and Bills of Quantities
- Check engineering designs and drawings for contractibility, errors, omissions and consistency
- Conduct site visits and inspections; attend project meeting (internal and external)
- Prepare engineering reports and write project correspondence
- Manage projects to meet time, cost and quality requirements
- Plan assigned activities to satisfy the requirements of Quality Assurance guidelines, budget and project brief.
- Provide leadership to a team of engineers and technicians
- Engagement/supervision of sub-consultants

Your background should include:
• Minimum 10 years experience in designing water infrastructure projects including pipelines, pumping stations and service reservoirs.
• Good knowledge of water transmission and distribution systems
• Experience in water infrastructure master planning, feasibility studies and designs.
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Membership of a professional institution (CEng status).
• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline will be highly regarded.
