This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest Engineering consultancies within their specialised nuclear division as a Safety Case Consultant based from our clients Berkshire or South London offices, working as part of a team of nuclear safety specialists.
Responsibilities will include;
• Providing support to the Design Team on integrating safety case requirements into the design.
• Supporting the design justification process.
• Supporting the Design Team's timely input to external safety case processes.
• Supporting the interface with the project's safety case team.
• Supporting the team in transition of the safety case delivery.

You should be qualified with a scientific or engineering degree and have a sound technical or engineering design background gained from significant experience having worked within a comparable safety critical environment. Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of nuclear safety legislation (including site licensing requirements).
