Principal Regeneration Consultant

Our clients' are looking for a Principal Regeneration Consultant with a sound understanding of social infrastructure (health, education, extra care etc), development and regeneration issues and an ability to rationally explain, explore and discuss these issues. An awareness of consultancy market opportunities and how to capitalise on leads and proposals.

Skills:

Skills required include ability to identify and exploit market opportunities, ability to undertake information and data research, prepare analytical and numerical assessments, provide inputs and coordinate reports and proposals, effectively manage staff and projects in terms of suitable deliverables and budgets and communicate and liaise with other staff, consultants and clients.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in a relevant area of study (ie, social science, economics, regeneration, geography, planning, science, etc) or other qualifications and professional experience equivalent in building up knowledge of social infrastructure and regeneration strategy and delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Taking a prominent/lead role in marketing, developing new business areas, preparation of proposals and securing work for the Economics and Development section

- Project directing relevant assignments

- Project managing relevant assignments

- Carrying out primary and secondary research and analysis as a part of social, economic, sustainability and regeneration related consultancy work

- Leading where appropriate on client liaison
